Basic Injector Course for Healthcare Providers
This all-inclusive two-day, 16-hour course trains healthcare providers to become proficient with both Botox® and dermal filler techniques. Combining detailed lectures with practical injection experience, students will be armed with the skill set necessary for integration into one’s practice. Upon completion, participants will receive certification for FDA-approved botulinum toxins (e.g., Botox®, Jeuveau®) and dermal fillers (e.g., Juvederm®).
Course Overview
Designed for beginners, this course covers the technical foundations of aesthetic injectables. Participants will gain knowledge of proper injection techniques and safety protocols. Another part of the course is an independent module for business fundamentals and a career starting or expansion in aesthetic medicine.
What to Expect
Interactive Lectures: Engage with expert instructors in an educational environment covering neuromodulator and filler applications.
Hands-On Experience: Practice injecting live models under professional supervision, ensuring safe and effective technique development.
Resources Provided: Receive sample consent forms, treatment documentation, a resource list, and supplemental course materials.
All necessary products and models are supplied by TMA Injector Academy at no extra cost. Students interested in being injected during the course can access discounted model pricing.

Neuromodulators: Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, and Daxxify (didactic session). Hands-on training will focus on Botox® Cosmetic and Jeuveau®.

Forehead Lines

Get rid of those dreaded horizontal forehead lines! Forehead lines are wrinkles that appear on the forehead as a person ages. Neurotoxins, such as Botox, are often used to temporarily reduce the appearance of forehead lines.
Glabella/Frown lines
30 minutes

Frown lines are lines that form at the corners of the mouth and between the eyebrows. These lines are caused by the repeated use of facial muscles. Botox is a form of treatment used to reduce the appearance of frown lines.
Crow’s Feet

Crow’s feet are pesky little wrinkles that form around the eyes and are caused by years of facial movements like smiling, squinting, and laughing. By temporarily paralyzing the underlying muscles, neurotoxins help reduce the appearance of crow’s feet.
Forehead Lines

Peri-oral lines (smoker’s lines)

Smoker’s lines are the vertical lines that appear around the mouth over time due to smoking. Neurotoxins such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin can be injected into the area to relax the muscles, which reduces the appearance of the lines and gives a more youthful look to the face.
Mentalis Dysfunction (chin “dents”)

Chin dents, also known as dimples, are small indentations that appear in the chin area. Neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport are used to treat chin dents. It smooths out the appearance of the chin by temporarily paralyzing the underlying muscles that are causing the indentation.
Masseter (Chewing Muscle)

Masseters are muscles located in the jaw that are used for chewing and speaking. Relaxing these muscles and reducing wrinkles on the face can be achieved with neurotoxins. They can also help relieve tension headaches caused by clenching of the jaw muscles.
Brow Lift

$12 / unit – (4- 8 units)
A brow lift is a procedure to reduce wrinkles and improve the appearance of the forehead, brow, and upper eyelids. Commonly used to reduce wrinkles caused by aging, sun damage, and other environmental factors. Neurotoxins are used to treat the brows.
Platysma (Vertical Neck Cords)

A platysma is a thin, flat muscle in the neck and upper chest area. It is responsible for the movement of the lower jaw and the skin of the neck and face. Neurotoxins can be used to help treat platysmal bands, which are wrinkles that form when the platysma muscle contracts.
Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating)

Hyperhidrosis is a condition that is characterized by excessive sweating. Hyperhidrosis can be treated with neurotoxins, which make sweat glands less active by blocking the chemical acetylcholine.
